Research shows that children build knowledge appropriate to their development when they actively explore and interact with their environment. So our teachers and classrooms provide ample opportunities for children to learn, grow and develop their skills confidently and comfortably.

The next step in your child's development is potty training. Purcellville Children's Academy's staff provides praise and encouragement to older children in diapers, when potty training. Children who are wearing underpants are never scolded when they have an "accident". Parents should bring several changes of labeled clothes for children once potty training has begun. Please remember to replace this clothing on a seasonal basis.
