INFANTS

In the Infant class, we strive to provide a warm, loving, soft environment where infants can feel safe and secure. The teachers spend the majority of the day on the floor with the infants, involving them in large motor skills play. They focus on sounds and movements with the younger infants and crawling and walking with the older ones, as well as many other skills including art, exploration, and discovery.

At meal time and diaper time, one on one communication is used to help the child develop language and eye-hand coordination. Teachers hold and snuggle with the infants to help them develop trust and provide a nurturing environment. The nap area allows for quiet time in a well supervised area.

We partner with families to develop a schedule that meets the infant’s needs and provides consistency for the infant. Teachers are always available to discuss the infant’s progress and celebrate the milestones in the young child's early stages. Your child will have a full day of learning, laughing, and socializing that will help him/her grow in every way possible.
